Quarter Horses

Scott's love of horses was inspired by his Grandparents, Pansy & Jim Espy, Sr. They started breeding horses back in the 50s. The Espy's 1960 AQHA World Champion Stallion was Dandy Day. Scott's grandmother gave us two mares and we bought our Stallion, Ready Four, and we began our foundation breeding program. We have integrated bloodlines such as Hancock, Driftwood, Peptoboonsmal, Playgun and Doc's Prescription.

Our foals are raised here in the Davis Mountains of West Texas where the country is a little rough and mountainous. Therefore, these horses are sure footed, travel long distances, can work all day and know how to work a cow when they get to one. We really feel like these foundation foals are raised to suit everyone and are tough enough to go anywhere and do anything.
